
In a historic performance during the Women’s Premier League (WPL) 2026, England’s Nat Sciver-Brunt became the first player ever to score a century in the tournament. The feat came in the 16th match of the WPL, played on January 26 at the Kotambi Cricket Stadium in Vadodara, between Mumbai Indians and Royal Challengers Bangalore.
Sciver-Brunt, playing for Mumbai Indians, smashed an unbeaten 100 runs off just 57 balls, featuring 16 fours and one six, at a strike rate of 175.44. Until now, no player had reached a century in WPL history.
