Royal Challengers Bangalore all-rounder Nadine de Klerk continues to make waves in the 2026 Women’s Premier League (WPL), delivering stellar performances with both bat and ball.

Early Dominance in WPL 2026
In RCB’s fifth match of the tournament, played at DY Patil Stadium in Navi Mumbai against UP Warriors, the team recorded a commanding nine-wicket victory. With this win, RCB has now won both of their matches in the league. De Klerk left her mark once again, taking 2 wickets for just 28 runs, adding to her growing tally.

Eight Wickets in Three Matches
The South African all-rounder has taken 8 wickets in her first three WPL matches. She claimed 4 wickets against Mumbai Indians and took 2 wickets on her RCB debut in the previous season. This performance places de Klerk second on the list for the most wickets taken in the first three matches of a WPL season.

Saika Isha tops the list with 9 wickets in her first three matches, while Sophie Ecclestone and Nandini Sharma have taken 7 wickets each, jointly occupying the third spot.

RCB’s Comprehensive Victory
After winning the toss, RCB opted to bowl first. UP Warriors managed 143/5 in their 20 overs, with RCB bowlers keeping the opposition under control. Chasing the target, RCB’s openers Grace Harris and captain Smriti Mandhana led the charge. Harris smashed a blistering 85, while Mandhana remained unbeaten on 47. Richa Ghosh added 4* to see RCB complete the chase in just 12.1 overs, winning comfortably by 9 wickets.

Nadine de Klerk’s consistent wicket-taking ability and RCB’s explosive batting have set the tone for an exciting season in the WPL 2026.
