The 44-year-old cricket icon appeared extremely fit, sparking excitement among fans. A video from the airport capturing Dhoni’s appearance has gone viral on social media.
Dhoni’s Iconic Style
In the viral clip, Dhoni can be seen wearing a beige T-shirt, black cargo pants, and his signature black goggles, effortlessly carrying his “hero” persona. Even years after retiring from international cricket in 2020, Dhoni continues to remain in the spotlight, largely due to his ongoing role in the Indian Premier League (IPL).
Focused on IPL 2026 Preparation
Dhoni has been retained by Chennai Super Kings (CSK) ahead of IPL 2026. Reports suggest that he is dedicating four-and-a-half hours daily to fitness and power-hitting practice. His routine includes high-intensity gym sessions and two-hour batting drills, with a special focus on finishing matches and hitting long-distance shots.
Dhoni’s IPL Legacy
Since 2008, Dhoni has played 278 IPL matches, scoring 5,439 runs at an average of 38.30 with a strike rate of 137.45. He has also hit 24 fifties in the tournament. In IPL 2025, Dhoni played 14 matches for CSK, scoring 196 runs at a strike rate of 135.17. Besides CSK, Dhoni has also represented Rising Pune Supergiant in the IPL.
