Following a mega-auction in November, several players have switched teams, creating fresh excitement across the six-team tournament. Here’s a look at five uncapped players who could turn heads with their performances this season.

1. Charlie Nott – UP Warriors

The Australian all-rounder joins UP Warriors as a replacement player. She boasts an impressive 775 runs and 28 wickets in the Women’s Big Bash League. In England’s The Hundred, she has scored 228 runs and taken 6 wickets, making her a valuable addition to the squad.

2. Anushka Sharma – Gujarat Giants

Gujarat Giants spent ₹45 lakh to secure the services of 22-year-old all-rounder Anushka Sharma. She has an outstanding domestic record, averaging over 63 in List A cricket. In T20s, she has scored 775 runs and claimed 29 wickets, showcasing her all-around prowess.

3. Niki Prasad – Delhi Capitals

Former India U19 captain Niki Prasad had a stellar season for Delhi last year, scoring 78 runs at an average of 39 in three innings. She played a crucial unbeaten 25-run knock in the final, almost leading Delhi to victory. Her consistent performance earned her a retention by the franchise.

4. Trisha Gongadi – UP Warriors

Trisha Gongadi made history as the first player to score a century in the U19 Women’s T20 World Cup. In 39 T20 matches, she has accumulated 697 runs and taken 28 wickets. Remarkably, she made her domestic debut for Hyderabad at just 12 years old.

5. Sanskruti Gupta – Mumbai Indians

Defending champions Mumbai Indians have retained spin bowler Sanskruti Gupta. Last season, she picked up 4 wickets and maintained an impressive economy of just 5.46 in 26 T20 matches, making her a key bowling asset for the team.
