While discussing DRS with his teammates, Bumrah was heard on the stump mic making a remark about Bavuma, calling him “short” — a comment that quickly went viral on social media. Shortly after, Bavuma was dismissed off Kuldeep Yadav’s delivery, caught brilliantly by Dhruv Jurel.

Earlier in the innings, Bumrah had already made a significant impact by dismissing both South Africa openers.
