Sunil Gavaskar Lauds Harshit Rana:
Former India captain Sunil Gavaskar praised Rana’s performance during the Star Sports broadcast, saying:
“A very good innings. He batted exactly like a lower-order batsman should—without any pressure. Nobody expected much from him, and he knew his job was just to swing the bat. There were moments when balls were delivered at him, and he attempted to slash them.”

Gavaskar added:
“He couldn’t read some deliveries initially, but he wasn’t frustrated. He quickly realized that if the bowler gave him a short ball, he would hit it, and if a length ball came, he could go for six. He executed this perfectly. I was impressed that he wasn’t bothered by not getting runs immediately; he adapted and delivered under pressure.”

Harshit Rana’s innings not only contributed crucial runs but also showcased his temperament, signaling the rise of a promising talent in Indian cricket.
