“Baby, Rockstar…” Hardik Pandya Creates History in T20 Cricket; Girlfriend Mahika Sharma Shows Love

New Delhi: Indian all-rounder Hardik Pandya scripted history during the third T20 International against South Africa, achieving a remarkable milestone of 100 wickets in T20I cricket for India. In the match, Pandya claimed the lone wicket of Tristan Stubbs, marking him as only the third Indian player to reach this feat after Jasprit Bumrah and Arshdeep Singh.

Girlfriend’s Heartfelt Tribute
Hardik’s girlfriend Mahika Sharma took to Instagram to celebrate his achievement. Sharing two stories, she first posted a video of the wicket with the caption: “100, baby! Rockstar, legend, hero.” In her second story, she highlighted another historic milestone—Hardik became the first Indian cricketer to score over 1,000 runs and take 100 wickets in T20 Internationals.

A Record-Breaking All-Rounder
With this accomplishment, Hardik joins an elite group of international players, including Shakib Al Hasan, Mohammad Nabi, Virandeep Singh, and Sikandar Raza, who have achieved both 1000 runs and 100 wickets in T20Is. The 32-year-old debuted for India in T20Is in 2016 and has played 123 matches so far. He has scored 1,939 runs at an average of 28 with a strike rate of 141.53, including six fifties. With the ball, Pandya has taken 100 wickets at an average of 26.78, with his best bowling figures being 4 for 16.
