Scoring 10,000 runs in One Day Internationals (ODIs) is a monumental achievement, achieved by only 15 players in cricket history. Among them, only five players have also accomplished the rare feat of taking a 5-wicket haul in this format. Here’s a look at these extraordinary all-rounders:

1. Sanath Jayasuriya (Sri Lanka)

Sanath Jayasuriya played 445 ODIs, scoring 13,430 runs. Renowned for his explosive batting, Jayasuriya was equally dangerous with the ball. He claimed 323 wickets in ODIs, including four 5-wicket hauls. His best bowling figures came against Zimbabwe, taking 6 wickets for 29 runs.

2. Sachin Tendulkar (India)

Known as the “God of Cricket,” Sachin Tendulkar is the highest run-scorer in ODI history. A master batsman and part-time bowler, Tendulkar took 154 wickets, including two 5-wicket hauls. He bowled both off-spin and leg-spin during his illustrious career.

3. Chris Gayle (West Indies)

The explosive Chris Gayle scored 10,480 ODI runs since his debut in 1999. Besides his batting heroics, Gayle was effective with his part-time off-spin, taking 167 wickets. His best bowling performance was 5 wickets for 46 runs.

4. Jacques Kallis (South Africa)

South Africa’s legendary all-rounder Jacques Kallis played 328 ODIs, amassing 11,579 runs and taking 273 wickets. Kallis claimed two 5-wicket hauls, with his career-best figures being 5 wickets for 30 runs.

5. Sourav Ganguly (India)

Former Indian captain Sourav Ganguly was a prolific batsman and handy medium-pacer. He scored 11,363 ODI runs and took 100 wickets, including two 5-wicket hauls. One of his most memorable performances came in 1997 against Pakistan, where he took 5 wickets for just 16 runs.
