Jhalawar, Rajasthan – Former Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje has once again captured the political spotlight in Rajasthan, this time during her son, MP Dushyant Singh’s, three-day outreach journey. The journey commenced from the renowned religious site, Unhel Nageshwar, in Jhalawar, and has already stirred conversations across the state’s political circles.
On January 15, Vasundhara Raje actively participated in the journey, using the occasion to convey a clear message to both politicians and the public. Speaking to the citizens, she remarked that “Most leaders appear only during election season and then disappear, spending the next five years in air-conditioned offices. We do not follow this path. We consider our constituency as family, and the people not merely as voters but as creators of destiny.”
During her interactions with the public, Raje also reminisced about her earlier experiences as a public servant. “I kept walking throughout my life with blessings; blisters on my feet never stopped me. When I was an MP, I used to undertake foot journeys, and even when my feet blistered, I would pierce them with a pin and move forward,” she recalled.
Praising her son Dushyant Singh, she emphasized that the journey is not merely political but a mission “for and of the people.” She said it is intended to connect with citizens, listen to their voices, and work toward fulfilling their dreams. “Your MP always remains among the people and strives to reach every corner of the constituency,” she added.
This heartfelt message underscores a narrative of accessibility, commitment, and people-centered leadership, positioning the journey as a bridge between political leadership and public trust.
