As the BJP government in Rajasthan completes two years in office, the party is preparing a massive state-wide outreach programme to highlight its development work and achievements. Beginning December 15, the BJP will launch a door-to-door campaign across all districts to take the government’s schemes and progress reports directly to the people.
On Sunday, Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma held a detailed meeting with cabinet ministers and BJP MLAs at his residence to finalize the strategy.
CM Directs Representatives to Strengthen Public Connect
During the meeting, CM Sharma emphasised that every public representative is accountable to the people and must prioritise fulfilling their expectations. He noted that both state budgets have allocated development works for all 200 Assembly constituencies.
The Chief Minister instructed ministers and MLAs to
- visit their constituencies regularly,
- take public feedback, and
- maintain strong coordination with local party workers
to ensure better delivery of government schemes.
15-Day Special Programme Across Rajasthan
To mark the government’s two-year milestone, BJP has planned a 15-day special programme across the state. Legislators and public representatives will visit different areas of their constituencies, inform citizens about ongoing development works, and increase engagement with ground-level party workers.
The campaign aims to ensure that every household becomes aware of the government’s initiatives and welfare schemes.
“Two Years of Work Surpass Congress’ Five Years” – CM Sharma
CM Bhajanlal Sharma claimed that the BJP government has achieved more in two years than the previous Congress administration did in five.
He highlighted key decisions such as the Yamuna Water Agreement and the Ramjal Setu Link Project, which he said have brought significant improvements in water availability in the state.
He also pointed out major investment achievements, including:
- ₹35 lakh crore worth of MoUs signed during the first Rising Rajasthan Global Investment Summit,
- Work already underway on projects worth ₹7 lakh crore,
- 92,000 youth appointed to government jobs so far, with over 15,000 more appointments expected in December.
Preparations Begin for Municipal & Panchayat Elections
The Chief Minister urged representatives to strengthen the organisation at the booth level and bring new people into the party fold. He directed leaders to take the government’s achievements of the past two years to every household and start preparations for the upcoming municipal and panchayat elections.
As the BJP government celebrates two years, both the party organisation and the state government are set to intensify political and public outreach activities across Rajasthan.
