Following the sweeping victory of the NDA in the Bihar Assembly Election 2025, Union Minister and Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas) chief Chirag Paswan met Chief Minister Nitish Kumar at the CM residence, 1 Aney Marg, on Saturday. After the meeting, Paswan issued a significant statement highlighting the unity within the NDA.
Chirag Paswan Meets Nitish Kumar
Chirag Paswan, along with a delegation of LJP (Ram Vilas), visited the Chief Minister to personally congratulate him on the NDA’s massive mandate. The leaders exchanged greetings and extended best wishes for the new political term.
Following the interaction, Paswan shared a post on social media platform ‘X’, writing:
“After the declaration of the Bihar Assembly election results, I met Chief Minister Nitish Kumar today and extended heartfelt congratulations on the NDA’s resounding victory.”
‘Honest Support Led to This Big Result’
Addressing the media after the meeting, Chirag Paswan said,
“I came today to personally congratulate the Chief Minister. Yesterday, I had conveyed greetings over the phone, and today I met him in person.”
He emphasized that the historic mandate was a result of sincere coordination among all NDA allies.
“I am happy that Chief Minister Nitish Kumar appreciated the role of each NDA partner. He strongly supported our candidates on polling day, and we too worked wholeheartedly in favour of JD(U)’s candidates,” Paswan said.
He added that the landslide victory was only possible due to the honest and committed support exchanged between the alliance partners.
NDA Registers Landslide Win in Bihar
The NDA secured 202 out of 243 seats, delivering one of its most decisive victories in the state:
- BJP – 89 seats
- JD(U) – 85 seats
- LJP (Ram Vilas) – 19 seats
- Hindustani Awam Morcha – 5 seats
- Rashtriya Lok Morcha – 4 seats
The strong performance has reaffirmed the NDA’s political dominance in Bihar, with Nitish Kumar and Chirag Paswan appearing united and confident after the electoral triumph.
