Patna: Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader and Leader of Opposition in the Bihar Assembly, Tejashwi Yadav, has once again launched a sharp attack on the state’s “double-engine” government led by Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Highlighting a series of recent crimes against women and minor girls, Yadav released a list of 14 disturbing incidents and demanded a response from the government.
Social Media Post Sparks Controversy
Tejashwi Yadav posted the list on social media, criticizing the government’s alleged failure to protect citizens. In his post, he wrote: “In the so-called Ram Rajya created by the Modi-Nitish government, such heinous incidents are occurring daily that even the media struggles to report them. From a 1.5-year-old girl to 11-year-old children, hundreds of minors have faced sexual assault, as the administration fails to act while criminals thrive under its protection.”
Warning Ahead of Elections
Taking a direct dig at the Prime Minister, Yadav warned: “Now Modi ji will visit Bihar during elections and leave the state’s reputation tarnished. His silence over these recent heinous incidents in just a few days proves that rapists enjoy protection from the powers that be.”
List of Recent Cases Highlighted
Tejashwi’s list includes shocking incidents from various districts:
- Saharsa: Sexual assault of a 1.5-year-old, including insertion of a rod.
- Kishanganj: Sexual assault of a six-year-old girl.
- Darbhanga: Rape of a minor girl followed by brutal murder.
- Patna: Attempted rape on a woman; her husband beaten for protesting.

Criticism of Government’s Response
Tejashwi Yadav condemned the state government, calling it “ineffective” and accusing it of providing protection to criminals. He challenged the authorities to respond to the list of incidents, saying the scale of gang rapes and attacks on minors reflects a failure of governance and law enforcement.
