Anand Mishra had left his home at the age of 18, upset with his family. For years, his parents, Gurudatt Mishra, a retired teacher, and his mother, had almost given up hope of seeing him again. Determined to update his records, Anand found his village head’s contact online and reached out to them. On 24 December 2025, he returned to his village, reuniting with his parents. The emotional reunion left the elderly couple in tears, and the story has become a topic of discussion across the village.
Family Life Today
After leaving home, Anand had settled in Delhi, where he married Radhika from Karol Bagh. The couple has two sons, Om (18) and Shivam (13). Anand, who now runs a business in Rishikesh, Uttarakhand, has promised to take care of his aging parents and stay close to them.
