Samrat Chaudhary Slams Lalu Yadav, Calls RJD a ‘Party of Slaves’ and Accuses It of Dynasty Politics

Patna: Bihar Deputy Chief Minister and senior BJP leader Samrat Chaudhary launched a sharp attack on RJD chief Lalu Prasad Yadav on Thursday, accusing the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) of promoting dynastic politics and lacking internal democracy.

In a strong political statement, Chaudhary went as far as calling RJD a “party of slaves,” claiming that its workers and leaders have been reduced to blind followers within a family-controlled political structure.

‘No Democracy Exists in RJD’

Targeting the leadership model of the RJD, Samrat Chaudhary alleged that the party has no space for democratic functioning and has become centered entirely around the Yadav family.

He claimed that the party is now driven only by Lalu Prasad Yadav’s affection for his son, suggesting that RJD decisions are based on family ties rather than merit or organizational principles.

Tejashwi’s Appointment Sparks BJP Attack

Taking a dig at the recent appointment of Tejashwi Yadav as the National Executive President of the RJD, Chaudhary said the move clearly reflects Lalu Yadav’s deep personal attachment, which he believes has overridden any concept of merit or democratic process within the party.

He stated that in RJD, capability holds little value, and loyalty to the family is placed above all else.

‘People of Bihar Have Rejected RJD’

Referring to the Bihar Assembly election results, Samrat Chaudhary claimed that the people of Bihar have completely rejected the politics of RJD.

He asserted that public anger and distrust forced the party to shrink to just 25 seats, which he described as a clear sign of the declining influence of Lalu Yadav’s party in the state.

Defends Nitish Government on Law and Order

Responding to opposition criticism over law and order, the Deputy CM strongly defended the Nitish Kumar-led government and praised the Bihar Police for its efficiency.

In a striking remark, he claimed that Bihar Police has become so feared that its impact is now being felt even outside the state.

Citing an example, he alleged that criminals in Bengaluru had to appeal on television for help, showing how strong policing has become.

He stressed that Bihar is under strict law enforcement and criminals are now afraid of the police.

Attack on RJD Workers and Senior Leaders

Chaudhary also criticized senior RJD leaders and long-time workers, saying that those who continue in the party despite its “slave-like culture” are doing so willingly.

He added that such a working culture has no place in a democratic system and is harmful to the political future of Bihar.

Reiterates ‘Zero Tolerance’ Against Crime

Dismissing opposition concerns, Samrat Chaudhary reaffirmed that Bihar is in “safe hands” and repeated the government’s zero-tolerance policy against crime.

His remarks come at a time when political tension is rising in Bihar, and organizational changes within RJD are drawing sharp reactions from rival parties.

Political Heat Intensifies in Bihar

With the ruling alliance intensifying its attacks on the opposition, Samrat Chaudhary’s statement is expected to further fuel political confrontation in Bihar, especially as debates over leadership, law and order, and party structure continue to dominate the state’s political discourse.
