Satna (MP): While many Booth Level Officers (BLOs) across the state continue to cite challenges during the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of voter lists, one BLO from Satna district has set an inspiring benchmark in dedication and efficiency. By completing his entire assignment ahead of schedule with 100% accuracy, he has created a district record—and the administration has rewarded him with a free trip to Sarsi Island.
This exceptional achievement belongs to Pradeep Singh, BLO of Booth No. 200 (Gorhai), located in Ramnagar, Maihar.
Completed Verification of 477 Voters Before Deadline
Under the SIR campaign, the administration had fixed 4 December as the deadline for completing detailed voter verification. Pradeep Singh was entrusted with verifying the particulars of all 477 voters on his booth, distributing required forms, and ensuring proper collection and documentation.
Instead of treating it as routine government work, he took it as a personal responsibility. Going door-to-door, he completed the entire process well before the deadline, becoming the first BLO in the district to achieve 100% completion.
His commitment and discipline have now become an example for others in the district.
SDM Honours BLO with Flower Garland and Free Island Trip
Impressed by his diligence, Ramnagar SDM S.P. Mishra honoured Pradeep Singh in a special ceremony. The SDM welcomed him with a floral garland and handed over a free holiday trip to Sarsi Island as a token of appreciation.
This is the first time that any field-level employee in the district has been awarded such a “holiday package-style incentive” for exceptional performance in voter list revision.
District Administration Applauds His Dedication
SDM Mishra described Pradeep Singh’s performance as a step that strengthens democratic processes.
He said the achievement has now become a benchmark for all BLOs in the district. The dedication shown in a crucial task like voter list purification is being widely appreciated across Satna.
