Rajsamand: MLA Confronted by Angry Crowd Over Missing Youth, Police Given 24-Hour Ultimatum

Rajsamand, Rajasthan: Tensions escalated in Rajsamand as locals and family members expressed outrage over the disappearance of Harish Joshi, who has been missing for seven days. The situation reached a boiling point when BJP MLA Deepti Kiran Maheshwari visited the protest site, only to be surrounded by an angry crowd demanding answers.

Protesters Voice Frustration

Harish Joshi, a resident of Dhoinda village, vanished from his home a week ago, with police so far unable to locate any trace of him. Relatives and local residents have been staging continuous sit-ins and demonstrations, demanding urgent action. When MLA Maheshwari arrived at the protest site, the crowd confronted her, voicing their dissatisfaction with the administration and elected representatives.

One protester remarked, “Officials and politicians rush to attend small public events, but they ignore ordinary citizens’ problems.” Throughout the confrontation, MLA Maheshwari remained calm, listening patiently without engaging in arguments.

Police Given 24-Hour Ultimatum

The ongoing anger prompted MLA Maheshwari to issue a stern warning to the authorities. She instructed the DSP present at the scene that the police must locate Harish Joshi within 24 hours, cautioning that failure to do so would have serious consequences. She also assured the family that she would personally monitor the investigation until the missing youth is found.

With public pressure mounting, all eyes are now on the authorities to take swift action, as the next 24 hours could be crucial in resolving the case.
