Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma to Announce Over ₹250 Crore Benefits for Girl Students on Basant Panchami

On the occasion of Basant Panchami, Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma will provide girl students with benefits totaling over ₹250 crore. The program will include free bicycle distribution, direct transfer of funds under various schemes, and a mega Parent-Teacher Meeting (PTM) at Jaipur’s University Commerce College.

Special Program in Jaipur
The Chief Minister will participate in a special event at University Commerce College, Jaipur, which will include Saraswati Vandana, youth dialogue, and a mega PTM. Through this initiative, benefits under education and student welfare schemes will be directly delivered to students.

Financial Assistance and Free Bicycles
Under state government schemes, 3.06 lakh girl students will receive a total of ₹126.81 crore directly into their accounts. Simultaneously, 3.34 lakh girl students will be provided with free bicycles worth approximately ₹130 crore. This initiative aims to enhance educational continuity and improve facilities for girl students across the state.

Mass Saraswati Vandana
Thousands of students across Rajasthan will participate in a collective Saraswati Vandana as part of the celebration. Special arrangements have been made in schools and colleges to mark this education-focused event, which will begin at 11 AM at University Commerce College, Jaipur.

Mega PTM Across the State
On the same day, government schools across Rajasthan will host mega PTMs, described as the largest educational engagement program to date. Parents will receive comprehensive updates on their children’s academic, co-curricular, and overall progress directly from teachers in a single platform.

Government Focus on Youth Welfare
Under Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma’s leadership, the Rajasthan government has prioritized youth empowerment and welfare. Recently, an examination calendar for 1 lakh recruitments was released, and over 1 lakh youth have already been appointed to government positions. Additionally, initiatives such as the Youth Policy 2026, Chief Minister Youth Self-Employment Scheme, and Employment Policy 2026 have been implemented.
