
Jaipur: In a significant move to boost the film industry, Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma has announced plans to position the state as a major film hub in India. The announcement came following a meeting with Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar, during which both discussed various opportunities to develop the local film ecosystem.

CM Sharma highlighted that the state government is actively working to simplify the shooting process and make the single-window approval system more effective. The objective is to create a conducive environment across Rajasthan for film production, post-production, and studio facilities.

Actor Akshay Kumar praised the state government’s efforts, noting that Rajasthan offers ideal locations, rich heritage, and vibrant culture for film shoots. He highlighted his positive experience during the filming of his upcoming movie Bhoot Bangla, appreciating the cooperation he received from local authorities in terms of location access and permissions.
CM Sharma’s vision positions Rajasthan not only as a cultural and tourist hotspot but also as a growing hub for the Indian film industry, attracting filmmakers from across the country and potentially boosting local economy and employment opportunities.
