Nitish Kumar’s Samriddhi Yatra LIVE: Darbhanga Receives ₹138 Crore Worth of Development Projects

Darbhanga, Bihar: Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar’s “Samriddhi Yatra” has reached the heart of Mithilanchal, Darbhanga, marking the second phase of the statewide development tour. During the visit, the CM will inaugurate 40 projects worth ₹33 crore and lay the foundation for 50 projects worth ₹105 crore, totaling over ₹138 crore in development initiatives.

The program began immediately upon his arrival at Darbhanga Airport and spans multiple key sites, including the Delhi Morh high-tech bus stand, the under-construction airport terminal, and the Amas-Darbhanga road. Nitish Kumar will personally review the quality and progress of these projects, ensuring they remain on schedule. The day will culminate with a massive public meeting and a district-level review session.

Highlights of the Samriddhi Yatra in Darbhanga:

• Delhi Morh Bus Stand: Spot inspection of the high-tech inter-state bus stand under construction at a cost of ₹88.78 crore, scheduled for completion by 14 December 2027.
• Exhibition of Key Projects: Eleven major projects displayed as models for assessment and monitoring progress.
• Amas-Darbhanga Road: Review of ongoing construction at the project’s camp office.
• Airport Terminal: Inspection of the civil enclave and terminal building, with the main structure expected to be completed within a month. CAT II lighting installation is underway, enabling night landing operations by March 2026.
• Foundation Laying and Inaugurations: 50 projects worth ₹105 crore to have foundations laid, and 40 projects worth ₹33 crore to be inaugurated across Darbhanga.
• Logistics Park & Cargo Hub: On-site review of land identified for future logistics and cargo facilities.
• Nagendra Jha Stadium: Public meeting following the inauguration and foundation-laying ceremonies, alongside a district-level review meeting with officials to accelerate development projects.

The visit emphasizes rapid infrastructure development, improved transportation, and enhanced economic opportunities for the region. By personally inspecting key projects, the CM aims to ensure timely execution and maximize benefits for the people of Mithilanchal.
