Nitin Nabin Faces a New Challenge in Uttarakhand After Conspiracy in Chhattisgarh

Nitin Nabin, the acting national president of BJP, is currently making headlines. However, his rise to this new position isn’t the only reason for the buzz around him. It is also the deep conspiracies he fell victim to in recent times that have come under scrutiny.
Now, Nabin faces a fresh controversy from Uttarakhand.

Was Nitin Nabin Targeted by BJP Members?
Was Nitin Nabin a target of his own party members? Were there signs of this happening within BJP? If not, why did he become the victim of a conspiracy while serving as the co-in-charge for Chhattisgarh? These are some of the pressing questions that only BJP itself can answer.

A Conspiracy in Chhattisgarh
Even today, a significant incident from Chhattisgarh remains a topic of discussion within BJP’s internal circles. This event, which took place in December 2025, raises the possibility that Nitin Nabin might have been subjected to discrimination due to his Bihari identity while serving as the co-in-charge of Chhattisgarh.

In December 2025, a major political conspiracy surfaced in Chhattisgarh, which seemed to be aimed at tarnishing Nitin Nabin’s image. Here’s the timeline of events:

  • December 2025: A doctored video went viral, which allegedly showed Nitin Nabin demanding 1500 crore rupees from Chhattisgarh’s Chief Minister, Bhupesh Baghel. This was a false claim.
  • 20th December 2025: BJP MLA Purandar Mishra filed an FIR at Raipur’s Civil Lines Police Station regarding the fake video.
  • 22nd December 2025: Police arrested Congress worker Mirza Aslam Beg and the writer of the video, Ankit Dubey, who had created and circulated the doctored footage.
  • 24th December 2025: The mastermind behind the conspiracy, who operated ‘Ranniti Media’, was arrested. His laptop was found at BJP’s state office (Kushabhau Thakre Campus). This individual is the son of a former BJP district president. By this date, four arrests had been made in connection with the case.

Chhattisgarh BJP Wanted Nitin Nabin’s Exit
Chhattisgarh’s BJP unit had consistently shown a negative attitude toward Nitin Nabin, and there were indications that they wanted him removed. This came after Nabin confronted the BJP leaders who were involved in the liquor trade, tarnishing the government’s image. Nabin had taken action by reprimanding the responsible leaders, and this led to a plot against him. The fake video was just a part of the conspiracy within the BJP ranks to damage his reputation.

A New Challenge in Uttarakhand
As Nitin Nabin assumed the role of BJP’s acting national president, another controversy erupted in Uttarakhand. This situation was particularly uncomfortable for Nabin, who is from Bihar. The incident involved Uttarakhand Minister Rekha Arya’s husband, Giridhar Lal Sahu, who made derogatory remarks about Bihari women during a public gathering. The comment caused embarrassment not only for the BJP but also for Nitin Nabin, as a prominent leader from Bihar.
