‘Nitin Nabeen Is My Boss, I Am a Worker’: PM Modi Sends Clear Message at BJP Event

BJP’s Executive President Nitin Nabeen has formally assumed charge as the party’s new National President, receiving a grand welcome in the presence of senior leaders, including Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Rajnath Singh, Amit Shah, and S. Jaishankar. PM Modi congratulated Nabeen on becoming the head of the world’s largest political party and lauded his leadership.

PM Modi Calls Nitin Nabeen His Boss
Addressing party workers, Modi said: “First of all, congratulations to Mr. Nitin Nabeen on being elected President of the world’s largest political party. The entire process, from the smallest unit of the organization to the national president’s election, was conducted 100% democratically. From today, Nitin Nabeen is my boss, and I am a worker of the party.”

Nabeen to Carry BJP’s Legacy Forward
Modi highlighted Nabeen’s unique position as a millennial leader with both youthful energy and vast organizational experience, stating that he will guide the party during the next crucial 25 years of India’s development. “He belongs to a generation that has witnessed immense economic, social, and technological changes—from radio in childhood to active AI use today,” Modi said.

Acknowledging Past Leaders
The Prime Minister paid tribute to BJP stalwarts from Atal Bihari Vajpayee, L.K. Advani, Murli Manohar Joshi, and others to current leaders like J.P. Nadda, emphasizing the party’s journey from zero to prominence and its growing organizational strength.

Service Over Power
Modi stressed that BJP has always treated governance as a means of public service rather than personal gain, which has strengthened people’s trust in the party. Over the last 11 years, BJP has expanded its governance footprint across states like Haryana, Assam, Tripura, and Odisha and emerged as a significant political force even in West Bengal and Telangana.

BJP as a Party of Governance and Relationships
“The BJP is not just a political party; it is a tradition, a family. We value relationships more than mere membership. Leadership may change, but ideals and direction remain constant,” Modi said. He highlighted BJP’s growing dominance in municipalities and local bodies, citing Maharashtra and Kerala as examples.
