NEET Student Death Case: Deputy CM Vijay Sinha Meets Victim’s Family, Vows Perpetrators Will Not Be Spared

Jehanabad, Bihar: Political tensions escalated in Patna following the tragic death of a NEET student, drawing sharp criticism from opposition parties over the state’s law and order. Amid this, Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Sinha visited the victim’s family in their village in Jehanabad on Tuesday, offering them reassurance and promising a fair investigation.

Assurance of Justice
During his visit, Vijay Sinha assured the bereaved family that the government would ensure strict action against the culprits. Speaking to the media, the Deputy CM stated, “Under good governance, no one who commits such a crime will be spared. Every aspect of the incident is being thoroughly and impartially investigated. Those found guilty will receive the strictest punishment.”

Meeting With the Family
Posting on social media platform X, Vijay Sinha wrote that he met with the family of the village girl who tragically died at Shambhu Girls’ Hostel, offering condolences and assuring them of complete justice. “I want to make it clear that no perpetrator, regardless of influence or status, will be spared. Once responsibility is established, the government will take the toughest possible action,” he added.

Government Monitoring and Transparency
The Deputy CM also noted that he had spoken with the Bihar Director General of Police (DGP) and the Home Minister, who confirmed that the police are monitoring the case with utmost seriousness. He emphasized that the investigation is proceeding in a fair, transparent, and time-bound manner. Vijay Sinha appealed to the public and the victim’s family to remain patient and cooperate with the process. “All findings will be presented publicly with full transparency. The administration is committed to impartiality, and the government stands fully with the family,” he said.

Under the leadership of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, Vijay Sinha reiterated, the Bihar government is committed to good governance and ensuring justice. “Justice will be delivered in all circumstances, and the guilty will not be spared at any cost,” he concluded.
