Navneet Rana Issues Direct Threat to Humayun Kabir Over Babri-Style Mosque Construction

Mumbai: Maharashtra BJP firebrand leader and former MP, Navneet Rana, has once again made headlines with a strong statement. During a government event at Baba Bageshwar Dham in Madhya Pradesh, she delivered a bold warning against those planning to construct a Babri-style mosque. Sharing a video on social media, Rana specifically targeted Humayun Kabir, who has announced plans to build a mosque in West Bengal.

After receiving blessings from Pandit Dheerendra Shastri at the Bundelkhand Mahakumbh, the seventh mass marriage ceremony organized by the Bageshwar Dham government, Rana declared: “Those attempting to build a Babri mosque will not even find a resting place in Hindustan. Humayun Kabir, this is a warning for you.”

Armed With Devotion and Weapons
Navneet Rana, calling herself the daughter of Maharashtra, emphasized her readiness to protect her faith. “Along with the sacred mala, I keep a spear and a sword. We will demonstrate the power of Hindus across Bengal,” she said during the ceremony.

This comes after Humayun Kabir, a legislator expelled from Trinamool Congress (TMC), announced plans to construct a mosque resembling the Babri Masjid in Beldanga, Murshidabad, West Bengal. Kabir has already laid the foundation stone and released the proposed design of the mosque. He has also formed a new political party, the Janata Unnayan Party (JUP), ahead of the upcoming West Bengal Assembly elections.

Humayun Kabir’s Mosque Plans
The mosque is planned on an 11-acre plot in Rejinagar, Beldanga, with construction work beginning on February 11. The estimated cost of the project is around ₹55 lakh. Following Kabir’s announcement, a substantial amount of construction material and bricks have already been delivered to the site.

The mosque controversy has drawn reactions from national leaders, with Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and Deputy CM Keshav Prasad Maurya criticizing the Mamata Banerjee government over the issue.
