Lucknow: A touching scene unfolded at Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s Janta Darshan in Lucknow on Monday. A mother approached the CM seeking urgent financial assistance for her seven-month-old infant, who is suffering from a heart-related illness.
During the morning session, the mother, hailing from Rajendra Nagar, Aishbagh, explained her difficult financial condition, living in a rented house with limited resources. She appealed to the CM for help to ensure her child’s treatment. Moved by her plea, CM Yogi Adityanath immediately arranged for an ambulance to take the baby to King George’s Medical University (KGMU), instructing the university’s Vice-Chancellor to commence treatment without delay. The child’s treatment began promptly following the CM’s directions. The CM also comforted the mother, assuring her that the government would provide full support.
Government Takes Responsibility for Soldiers’ Families:
The Janta Darshan also saw participation from paramilitary personnel from Bulandshahr, who raised concerns about land encroachment affecting their families. The CM received their petitions and assured the soldiers that while they focus on their duties at the nation’s borders or internal security, the government would take care of their families. Officials were directed to investigate the matter and provide a swift resolution.
Over 60 Complainants Attended:
On the day, more than 60 citizens from across the state attended the Janta Darshan. CM Yogi personally met each complainant, received their petitions, listened to grievances, and instructed the relevant officials to resolve the issues. Complaints ranged across land disputes, financial assistance, police matters, electricity, and other departmental issues. The CM assured everyone that their security and welfare are government priorities and emphasized the administration’s commitment to addressing citizens’ concerns promptly.
This incident highlights the CM’s hands-on approach in addressing public grievances and ensuring timely intervention in critical cases.
