The incident reportedly took place in Sisodia village, where residents accused the electricity department’s VCR team of collecting illegal fees under the pretext of checking electricity connections. On receiving complaints, MLA Ram Bilas Meena personally visited the village to interact with the residents. During this visit, a video captured him speaking strongly against the alleged malpractice.

In the video, the MLA can be seen instructing villagers to stop any official or staff member attempting illegal collection in the name of VCR operations and to report such instances immediately.
