“Maintain Organizational Discipline, Father”: Santosh Suman Advises Jitan Ram Manjhi

In a significant political statement, Bihar Minister and HAM (Hindustani Awam Morcha) National President Santosh Kumar Suman has publicly advised his father and party patron, former Chief Minister Jitan Ram Manjhi, to maintain “organizational discipline” while expressing views on party matters.

Speaking to the media, Santosh Suman clarified that while Manjhi, as the party’s patron, naturally has opinions on the expansion and strategic decisions of the party, any issues should ideally be raised within party forums rather than through public statements or the edia.

Political Statements Stir Controversy
Manjhi has recently attracted attention for openly commenting on issues such as the upcoming Rajya Sabha seat, matters concerning NDA alliance partners, and remarks about Upendra Kushwaha. These statements reportedly created discomfort within the NDA coalition, prompting Santosh Suman’s intervention aimed at reinforcing party discipline.

Development Initiatives Highlighted Amid Political Turbulence
During his media interaction, Santosh Suman also highlighted ongoing development projects in his region. He stated that the industrial corridor in Gaya is progressing rapidly, generating significant local employment opportunities. He further mentioned that the government is seriously considering plans to connect Jehanabad with a metro project, aiming to boost regional infrastructure and connectivity.

Manjhi’s Remarks Fuel Political Heat
Jitan Ram Manjhi’s recent remarks—ranging from the allocation of MP-MLA funds to staking a claim on the Rajya Sabha seat—have sparked debates and stirred political corridors. His comments on Upendra Kushwaha, in particular, fueled discussions about potential rifts within the alliance. The reminder from his own son to adhere to organizational norms marks a new chapter in the ongoing political discourse in Bihar.
