Khagaria: Former BJP General Secretary Dilip Kumar Shot, Critical Condition

Khagaria: In a shocking incident in Bihar’s Khagaria district, former BJP General Secretary and current Mandal Tax Committee member Dilip Kumar (56) was critically injured in a shooting by unidentified assailants. The attack took place in Labh village, under Gangaur police station, near Tribhuvan Tola Pulia while he was on official work.

According to reports, Dilip Kumar was shot near his chest. His wife revealed that she received a phone call informing her about the incident. The attack caused panic among locals, who immediately rushed him to Sadar Hospital, Khagaria. Due to the seriousness of his condition, doctors referred him to a higher facility for advanced treatment. He remains in critical condition.

Gangaur Police Station Officer-in-Charge, Sundar Paswan, said that since the victim is undergoing treatment, his statement has not yet been recorded. “The investigation has already begun, and we are working to identify and apprehend the attackers at the earliest,” he added.

The attack on a politically and socially active figure like Dilip Kumar has sparked outrage in the local community. Residents have strongly condemned the incident and demanded immediate action from the police.
