“I Am Completely Depressed”: Tej Pratap Yadav Denies Rumours of Having a Daughter

Patna: Bihar’s former minister and senior RJD leader Tej Pratap Yadav, the elder son of Rashtriya Janata Dal chief Lalu Prasad Yadav, strongly denied viral social media claims suggesting that he has a daughter with a woman named Anushka Yadav.

Addressing a press conference on Sunday, Tej Pratap called the allegations completely false and claimed that a conspiracy is being hatched to defame him. He also stated that the ongoing rumours have pushed him into depression.

“A Conspiracy to Defame Me,” Says Tej Pratap

Tej Pratap alleged that several political figures and individuals close to the RJD were involved in spreading misinformation against him. He referred to RJD MP Sanjay Yadav, MLC Sunil Singh, former MLA Shakti Singh Yadav, former MLA Mukesh Raushan, and Tejashwi Yadav’s close associate Ramiz as “Jaichands” (traitors).

He claimed they were working together to damage his image and create political controversy.

Tej Pratap Questions Identity of “Aakash Bhati”

Rejecting the claim of the child’s birth, Tej Pratap demanded an investigation into a person named Aakash Bhati, alleging that he may have a connection with the woman involved.

He said that instead of dragging his name into the issue, authorities should investigate who Aakash Bhati is and what his relationship is with Anushka Yadav.

“The Rumours Have Made Me Depressed”

Expressing emotional distress, Tej Pratap said the false narratives circulating on social media have deeply affected him.

He stated:
“I completely reject the claim. This is a conspiracy to defame me. I am completely depressed because of the rumours being spread on social media.”

He added that the same woman had earlier been wrongly linked to him, which had created controversy and allegedly led to his expulsion from the party.

“We Will Go to Court,” He Announces

Tej Pratap further said that he and his legal team will approach the court and file an application against those spreading false claims.

He maintained that the allegations were baseless and politically motivated, and warned that legal action would soon be taken to expose the truth behind the matter.

Political Heat Rises in Bihar

The controversy has created fresh political buzz in Bihar, as Tej Pratap’s remarks have openly targeted individuals within and around the RJD circle. With Tej Pratap promising legal action, the issue is expected to intensify further in the coming days.
