Complaint Filed Against Tej Pratap Yadav Amid Rising JD(J) Internal Conflict

Patna: The internal tussle within the Jan Shakti Janata Dal (JD(J)) has escalated into a full-blown public spat, involving serious allegations and legal battles. Senior party leader Tej Pratap Yadav and former party spokesperson and Madhav Seva chief Santosh Renu Yadav are now at the center of a contentious dispute, sending ripples through political circles.

A complaint has been lodged against Tej Pratap Yadav at Beur police station. This comes amid rising tensions within the party, with both leaders leveling accusations against each other. Tej Pratap Yadav had earlier approached the Secretariat police station, alleging that he had received threats and extortion demands. He also claimed attempts were being made to tarnish his public image, prompting him to seek legal recourse.

Santosh Renu Yadav Denies Allegations and Files Counter Complaint
In response, Santosh Renu Yadav has categorically denied all allegations made by Tej Pratap and filed a complaint at Beur police station. He has also sought police protection, claiming that his life and the safety of his family are under threat. Renu alleged, “I am being targeted for raising concerns over political differences and the party’s internal functioning. Tej Pratap is attempting to malign my reputation and implicate me in false cases.”

Renu has submitted a written request to the police, urging an impartial investigation and immediate security measures. The accusations from both leaders have stirred political activity in local circles, keeping the police on high alert.

Police Response
City SP (West) Bhanu Pratap Singh confirmed receiving written complaints from both parties. He stated, “A thorough and impartial investigation will be conducted, and no allegation will be taken lightly. The incident has been officially registered at Beur police station, and the investigation is ongoing.”
