CM Yogi Adityanath Visits Ghaziabad, Inaugurates Newly Built Cave Temple on Meerut Road; Heavy Vehicle Movement Restricted

Ghaziabad/Noida:
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath is on a day-long visit to Ghaziabad and Noida today (Thursday). In Ghaziabad, he will inaugurate the newly constructed cave temple at Tarun Sagar Tirth Jain Temple, located near Basantpur Saitli village on Meerut Road. In view of the Chief Minister’s visit, traffic routes on Meerut Road and connecting roads have been temporarily altered, and heavy vehicles are barred from entering the area during the event.

Security Measures and Traffic Diversions:
The CM is scheduled to reach the temple around 11:00 AM, with a program lasting approximately one hour. To ensure his security, a tight security cordon has been established, with his helicopter landing at the ITS College grounds in Muradnagar. From there, the convoy will proceed to the temple premises. Police personnel have been deployed every 50 meters along the route, with barricades and alternate routes arranged for smooth traffic management.

Traffic from Delhi will be diverted via Hapur Road turn, while vehicles coming from Meerut will enter the city through Modinagar via Hapur Road. Additionally, ten police station areas, including Muradnagar, Masuri, Wave City, Kavi Nagar, Madhuban Bapudham, Sihani Gate, Nandgram, Indirapuram, Kaushambi, and Sahibabad, have been declared No-Drone Zones/Temporary Red Zones. All drone, paraglider, and hot air balloon activities are strictly prohibited in these zones.

Heavy Vehicle Restrictions:
From 8:00 AM Thursday, all heavy commercial vehicles are restricted from Meerut Road. Traffic from Duhai towards Muradnagar and Modinagar will be diverted via Eastern Peripheral Expressway. Vehicles coming from Palwal-Kundli towards Muradnagar and Modinagar will be completely barred from entry during the CM’s program.

District authorities, including Ghaziabad Police Commissioner J. Ravindra Gaud, DCP Rural Zone Surendra Nath Tiwari, ACP Masuri Lipi Ngayach, District Magistrate Ravindra Kumar Mandad, CDO Abhinav Gopal, and SDM Modinagar Ajit Kumar Singh, reviewed the security and logistical arrangements. The Municipal Council, led by Executive Officer Shailendra Singh, conducted special cleanliness drives along the route from Ordinance Factory to Duhai to ensure proper arrangements for devotees. The temple committee president, Sunil Jain, confirmed that the Panchkalyanak Mahotsav will continue until November 30, with nearly 3,000 devotees expected to participate.

Noida Program:
Later in the day, CM Yogi Adityanath will inspect the progress of the ongoing construction at the Noida International Airport in Jewar. After the inspection, he will hold a review meeting with officials. Subsequently, he will attend the inauguration of a private hospital in Sector-50, Noida, at around 2:30 PM, where he is expected to stay for approximately 45 minutes.
