Bhopal: In a refreshing departure from the lavish weddings often associated with political families, Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh, Mohan Yadav, is setting an example of simplicity. His younger son, Dr. Abhimanyu Yadav, is all set to marry Dr. Eshita in a modest mass marriage ceremony in Ujjain on 30th November 2025. The wedding invitation itself reflects this simplicity, featuring just the couple’s photograph and details of the rituals.
A Mass Marriage Event
Unlike extravagant weddings often seen among politicians’ families, the Yadav family is choosing a communal approach. Dr. Abhimanyu’s wedding will be part of a mass marriage program in Ujjain, where 21 couples will take their vows together. Preparations in the city are complete, and guests have begun receiving the simple invitation cards.
Simplicity in Celebration
The wedding cards are understated, marking a stark contrast to the opulent invitations of other political families in Madhya Pradesh. Social media has widely praised CM Mohan Yadav for promoting simplicity and modesty in family celebrations.
A Family of Doctors
Both bride and groom are doctors. Dr. Abhimanyu resides in Bhopal, while Dr. Eshita hails from Khargone. Their engagement, too, was conducted in a simple ceremony at the CM’s residence, attended only by close family members.
Continuing the Tradition
This approach follows the example set by the CM’s elder son, whose wedding was also conducted in a straightforward manner in Pushkar, without any extravagance and attended only by close relatives. The family continues this ethos with Dr. Abhimanyu’s wedding, emphasizing modesty and social responsibility over showy celebrations.
