CM Abhyuday Scheme Scam: Only 21 of 69 Course Coordinators Found Eligible, Minister Aseem Arun Takes Strict Action

Uttar Pradesh Social Welfare Minister Aseem Arun has taken a strong stand against serious irregularities in the recruitment of course coordinators under the Chief Minister Abhyuday Scheme. Following his directive, an FIR has been registered at Gomtinagar Police Station against the outsourcing company Avni Paridhi Energy & Communication Pvt. Ltd. and several applicants for alleged conspiracy, submission of fake documents, and appointments in violation of rules. An administrative inquiry into the entire matter has also been ordered.

Recruitment irregularities uncovered

The Social Welfare Department had received complaints on October 29 regarding the recruitment of coaching course coordinators across the state through outsourcing agencies. A detailed investigation of all recruitment documents revealed that candidates were required to have cleared the UP PCS Main Examination to be eligible for the post. Despite this, many candidates who did not meet this criterion were appointed.

Only 21 of 69 candidates found eligible

Out of 69 candidates scrutinized, only 21 were found eligible. The investigation report further revealed that fake and forged documents were used to secure appointments for ineligible candidates. The outsourcing company Avni Paridhi Energy & Communication Pvt. Ltd. has been held responsible for these irregularities.

Administrative probe ordered against officials

Minister Aseem Arun has instructed an administrative inquiry into the roles of officials responsible for document verification, to examine negligence or complicity. Moving forward, all outsourcing appointments will require mandatory police verification and document authentication, and verification of current outsourcing staff will also be conducted to ensure compliance with rules.
