BJP Leader Gulfam Singh Yadav Murder Case: Gangster Act Invoked Against 9 Accused, Properties to Be Seized

In a major development in the sensational murder case of BJP leader Gulfam Singh Yadav, the Sambhal Police have taken strict action under the Gangster Act against nine accused, including former Samajwadi Party (SP) block chief Ravi Yadav and his father Mahesh Yadav. Authorities have also initiated the process to seize their properties.

Murder Motivated by Financial Gain

SP Chief of Police Krishna Kumar Bishnoi stated that the investigation revealed the murder was premeditated and motivated by financial interests. Ravi Yadav, along with his associates, allegedly hired a notorious criminal from jail to carry out the murder using a poisonous chemical injection, making the incident both shocking and high-profile.

Gangster Act and Property Seizure

Following the collection of sufficient evidence, police invoked the Gangster Act against all nine accused. With approval from District Magistrate Dr. Rajendra Pansia, the authorities have begun proceedings to seize illegally acquired properties of the accused.

The Sambhal Police emphasized that such stringent actions will continue to instill fear among criminals and maintain law and order, sending a clear message that serious crimes will not go unpunished.

This case highlights the rising severity of organized crimes in the region and the state’s determination to curb criminal networks through strict legal enforcement.
