Bihar Elections 2025: Prashant Kishor Elated Over Record Turnout, Says ‘History Will Be Written on November 14’

Gaya | November 6:
Political strategist-turned-leader Prashant Kishor (PK) expressed joy over the massive voter turnout in the first phase of Bihar Assembly elections held on November 6 across 121 constituencies. The Jan Suraaj Party founder said the record polling reflected the people’s enthusiasm for change and their belief in a new political alternative that his party represents.

Speaking to the media in Gaya, Kishor said,

“The biggest success of Jan Suraaj is that the people of Bihar finally have an option. The compulsion to vote for the BJP-Nitish alliance out of fear is gone. The people are excited because they see a new path, a new possibility. That’s why the voting percentage is so high this time.”

‘High Voter Turnout Means Desire for Change’

Kishor noted that this election has recorded one of the highest voter turnouts since independence, describing it as proof that the Bihari electorate wants transformation.

“For months, I have been saying that more than 60% of Bihar’s people want change. Now, because of Jan Suraaj, they have a genuine alternative. The increased voter turnout shows that people are happy to exercise their choice,” he said.

He also credited migrant workers, many of whom stayed back after Chhath Puja, as the X-factor in this election.

“The enthusiasm among migrant workers, who voted in large numbers, will play a decisive role in shaping the results. Mark my words — history will be written on November 14,” Kishor asserted.

PK Takes Aim at Deputy CM Samrat Choudhary

Targeting Bihar’s Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary, Kishor remarked that the BJP leader should first focus on his own seat.

“Samrat Choudhary should worry about whether he will win in Tarapur or not. He keeps calling big NDA leaders like Nitish Kumar and Rajnath Singh because he’s scared of losing. If he’s confident of victory, why bring national leaders to campaign? They have no issue to connect with the people — that’s why voters will reject them,” he said.

Tejashwi Yadav Also in PK’s Line of Fire

Kishor didn’t spare RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav either, saying,

“Tejashwi has already started imagining himself as the next Chief Minister, but he has no idea what’s happening on the ground. No party other than Jan Suraaj predicted such massive voting. The people are voting for real change, not for recycled promises.”

Jan Suraaj Sees Itself as the Catalyst

Kishor concluded that the record-breaking turnout was a sign that Bihar’s electorate had found renewed confidence.

“The people of Bihar have spoken through their votes. They are ready to change the state’s political story. On November 14, a new chapter in Bihar’s history will begin,” he said with confidence.
