New Delhi: The spectacular victory of the NDA in the Bihar Assembly elections is being attributed to the BJP’s aggressive campaign strategy and the popular Modi-Nitish alliance. The credit for this decisive win is being given to BJP strategists Dharmendra Pradhan and Vinod Tawde, who played a crucial role in strengthening the organization and selecting candidates strategically.
According to trends, the NDA comfortably crossed the majority mark, while the Mahagathbandhan remains far from the magic number. Even the Congress, a national party, is ahead in just five seats. The BJP’s campaign, marked by a strong anti-Mahagathbandhan stance and Prime Minister Narendra Modi highlighting the issue of “jungle raj,” resonated deeply with voters, reminding them of Lalu Prasad Yadav’s controversial tenure. The Modi-Nitish duo received widespread public approval, contributing significantly to the NDA’s massive support.
Dharmendra Pradhan: BJP’s ‘Chanakya’ in Bihar
Dharmendra Pradhan was appointed as the BJP’s election in-charge for Bihar in September. Though he has long-standing ties with the state—having been elected to the Rajya Sabha from Bihar in 2012—he has consistently strengthened the party’s organization. His close personal rapport with Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and his understanding of the OBC voter base, which forms Nitish Kumar’s core support, allowed him to make critical seat adjustments and strategy decisions. Political analysts now call him BJP’s ‘Chanakya’ in Bihar.
Vinod Tawde to Likely Receive Party Chairmanship
Vinod Tawde, who played a key role as BJP’s election strategist in Bihar, has also been widely credited for the party’s sweeping success. Analysts say Tawde’s meticulous selection of candidates, including bringing in personalities like Maithili Thakur, was instrumental in securing the NDA’s commanding lead. Speculations suggest that following the NDA’s victory and the swearing-in ceremony, the BJP may reward Tawde with the prestigious post of party chairman in Bihar.
This strategic duo’s efforts have been crucial in transforming Bihar’s electoral battlefield into a decisive win for the NDA, reinforcing the party’s strong organizational presence and tactical foresight.
