- The Bhorey seat is SC-reserved and has a rich electoral history. In 16 previous elections, Congress has won 8 times, while JDU, BJP, and RJD have each secured 2 victories. The Janata Party and JDU have won once each in earlier contests.

- By the 12th round, Sunil Kumar’s lead had crossed 9,487 votes.
