Old Photos Sparked Frenzy
The photos, shared via Tej Pratap’s social media account, referred to a 12-year-old relationship between him and Anushka. In the pictures, Anushka appeared as a newlywed woman, fueling widespread speculation. Within hours, Tej Pratap claimed that his account had been hacked and that the images had been AI-edited to defame him and his family.

One viral image shows Anushka looking at Tej Pratap through a sieve on Karwa Chauth. Following the photo leak, Tej Pratap visited Anushka’s residence in June, staying for several hours. He told the media that his visit was due to family ties and nothing more.

Political Fallout
The controversy over the viral photos led Lalu Prasad Yadav to expel Tej Pratap from the RJD for six years. Subsequently, Tej Pratap launched his own party, Jan Shakti Janata Dal, contesting the Mahua assembly seat. However, he faced a resounding defeat, with none of his party candidates managing to retain their deposits.
