
Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh Day 2026 will be celebrated from 24 to 26 January at the Rashtriya Prerna Sthal in Lucknow, showcasing the state’s culture, crafts, cuisine, and development journey on a single platform with public participation. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath conducted a review meeting on Wednesday to finalize the preparations.
The Chief Minister emphasized that the event is not merely ceremonial but an opportunity to display the state’s identity, achievements, and potential with public engagement. He instructed that the celebration be organized as a people’s festival, reflecting the essence of Uttar Pradesh at every level.
Main Ceremony at Rashtriya Prerna Sthal
This year, Union Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah will attend as the chief guest. The main ceremony will be held at the Rashtriya Prerna Sthal in Lucknow. Special exhibitions and handicraft fairs under the theme ‘Developed India – Developed Uttar Pradesh’ will highlight the state’s journey in innovation, infrastructure, industry, agriculture, women empowerment, and self-reliance.
Culinary Showcase: One District-One Cuisine
A key attraction of this year’s celebration will be ‘One District-One Cuisine’, where each district’s traditional and unique dishes will be presented in a single venue. Visitors will have the opportunity to experience the diverse culinary traditions and local flavors of Uttar Pradesh, promoting both the state’s cultural heritage and local identity.
