Akhilesh Yadav Dismisses Bihar Exit Polls, Confident Tejashwi Yadav Will Become CM

Patna, Bihar: Despite exit polls predicting a return of the NDA government in Bihar, Samajwadi Party president Akhilesh Yadav is confident that Tejashwi Yadav will take oath as the state’s next Chief Minister. Speaking to the media, Akhilesh Yadav questioned the credibility of the exit polls, asserting that the people of Bihar have voted for change.

Allegations Against BJP’s Exit Poll Tactics
Akhilesh Yadav alleged that the BJP is attempting to influence the results by commissioning biased exit polls among its supporters. He said, “The people of Bihar have voted for change. Tejashwi Yadav is going to become the Chief Minister. The BJP is deliberately using exit polls to mislead the public and prevent the Mahagathbandhan from forming the government.”

Tejashwi Yadav Warns of Potential Manipulations
Mahagathbandhan leader and Chief Ministerial candidate Tejashwi Yadav also raised concerns about possible interference in vote counting before the official results are declared on 14 November. He accused the NDA of trying to slow down the counting process and create fear among voters, calling it an attack on democratic norms.

Tejashwi further criticized the recent Delhi Red Fort blasts, in which at least eight people lost their lives, linking attempts to instill fear with the ongoing political climate.

Counting Scheduled for 14 November
Several exit polls had projected an NDA victory in the Bihar Assembly elections. The first phase of voting took place on 6 November, followed by the second phase on Tuesday. Now, all eyes are on 14 November, when the official results will reveal the mandate of the people.

Political analysts are closely monitoring both the exit poll claims and opposition allegations. While exit polls suggest an NDA win, Akhilesh and Tejashwi Yadav remain steadfast in their belief that Bihar’s electorate has chosen change and that Tejashwi Yadav will lead the state. The final verdict, however, will only be clear once the counting concludes.
