After Slap Controversy, Naresh Meena Targets BJP’s ‘Letter Row’, Reminds CM of Promise Made to His Father

Tonk: Rajasthan’s outspoken political leader and often referred to as the state’s “Angry Young Man,” Naresh Meena, has once again grabbed attention with his sharp remarks and aggressive stance against the government.

During his appearance at the Tonk court, Meena not only reignited the controversy linked to the SDM slap case, but also launched a strong attack on the BJP over the ongoing ‘Letter Scandal’ that has created turmoil within the party.

‘Morpalsuman Spoke the Truth, So Why Punish Him?’

The political storm erupted after a viral letter allegedly written by Morpalsuman, BJP’s former candidate from Anta, went public. The letter has triggered intense discussions in political circles, as it reportedly hints that Morpalsuman was defeated not by the opposition, but due to internal sabotage within the BJP itself.

Reacting to the issue, Naresh Meena openly supported Morpalsuman and questioned the party’s leadership.

“Morpalsuman has spoken the absolute truth that he was defeated by BJP’s own senior leaders. But look at the irony — BJP state president Madan Rathore issued a notice to the one who spoke the truth, not to the traitors who caused the defeat,” Meena said.

Meena Reminds CM of ‘Samravata Incident’ Deal

Meena also reminded Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma of the commitment allegedly made during the Samravata incident, when Meena was in jail and his supporters were preparing for a protest march to Jaipur.

According to Meena, the Chief Minister had called his father and supporters and assured them that cases against protesters would be withdrawn.

Calling it a matter of “Rajdharma” (duty of governance), Meena demanded that the government fulfill its promise.

Demands Withdrawal of Cases and Bail Cancellation Appeal

Reiterating his 12-point demands, Meena urged the government to withdraw cases filed against villagers and protesters. He also demanded that the government immediately withdraw its appeal seeking cancellation of his bail in the SDM slap case.

He stated that innocent villagers should not be targeted and the administration should stop what he called political harassment.

Major Movement on ‘Cheap Gravel’ Announced

Naresh Meena further announced that his next major protest will focus on the issue of affordable gravel (bajri), warning that a large-scale agitation will soon begin.

He accused the authorities of running an illegal gravel operation in the name of desilting the Bisalpur Dam.

Warning Over Sawai Madhopur Murder Case

Meena also expressed concern over the recent murder of a woman in Sawai Madhopur, and issued a warning to the police administration.

He said if swift action is not taken soon, he will personally join the victim’s family and launch a protest on the streets.
