After NDA Victory, What Will the New Government Look Like? Chirag Paswan Reveals Key Details of His Meeting With Nitish Kumar

Patna: Union Minister and LJP (Ram Vilas) chief Chirag Paswan met Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on Saturday, where the two leaders congratulated each other on the NDA’s resounding victory in the Bihar Assembly elections and discussed in detail the roadmap for the upcoming coalition government.

Speaking to the media after the meeting, Chirag Paswan said that the LJP (Ram Vilas) delegation appreciated the Chief Minister’s leadership and acknowledged the role played by every NDA partner in securing the majority.
He added, “I feel proud today that through the hard work of our party workers, we have reached the position envisioned by my leader, Ram Vilas Paswan ji.”


Chirag Paswan Praises Nitish Kumar’s Leadership

Paswan revealed that discussions also focused on the future direction of the alliance and government functioning. He expressed satisfaction that the Chief Minister openly acknowledged the contributions of all coalition partners.

He said the seat-sharing arrangement and the unified effort of all alliance members were the biggest reasons behind the NDA’s massive mandate.
“On polling day, the Chief Minister himself supported the LJP (Ram Vilas) candidate. We, in turn, wholeheartedly backed JDU candidates,” Paswan stated.

According to him, such mutual trust and cooperation made the victory not only historic but also politically significant for the state.


Morning Meeting at CM Residence

Earlier in the day, an LJP (Ram Vilas) delegation led by Chirag Paswan visited the Chief Minister’s residence. Both leaders exchanged greetings and congratulations on the election outcome.

Following the meeting, Chirag Paswan wrote on X (formerly Twitter):
“After the Bihar Assembly election results, I met Chief Minister Nitish Kumar ji today and extended heartfelt congratulations on NDA’s sweeping majority.”
