PM Modi Reveals the ‘Winning Formula’ for the First Time

**

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi, delivering the 6th Ramnath Goenka Lecture on Monday, explained for the first time why the BJP continues to win elections consecutively across the country. Modi said that it is not “election mode” but a 24×7 emotional commitment to development and public sensitivity that drives the BJP’s victories.

He added that the recent Bihar election results have sent a strong message to every state government—their development policies alone will determine their political future, irrespective of whether they are left-wing, right-wing, or centrist.

Modi Targets Congress: “Urban Naxals Have Taken Over the Party”

Taking a sharp swipe at the Congress, the Prime Minister said that extremist elements who support Naxal and Maoist violence are losing ground across India, but their influence is growing inside the main opposition party.

Modi claimed that Congress has allowed “urban Naxals” to infiltrate major institutions, adding:

“The urban Naxal-Maoist ecosystem that took root in Congress 10–15 years ago has now transformed into the ‘Muslim League-Maoist Congress (MMC)’—and I say this with full responsibility.”

He accused MMC of compromising national interests for political gain.

“States Must Prioritize Development”

Modi emphasized that both central and state governments must keep development as their primary focus.
He said the Bihar election results prove that people trust only those parties that show honest intent and deliver on the aspirations of the public.

“India’s people now support parties that prioritize development and work sincerely to improve lives.”

The BJP’s Winning Formula: 24×7 Commitment to People

PM Modi said the BJP wins elections because its foundation is built on “seva” (service), not just strategy.

He said:

“Crores of BJP workers have nurtured this party with their sweat. In Kerala, Bengal, and Jammu & Kashmir, hundreds have even shed their blood.
For such a party, winning elections is not the only goal—winning people’s hearts through continuous service is.”

According to Modi, this emotional and developmental commitment, not merely political tactics, keeps BJP ahead of its rivals.

Record-Breaking Voter Turnout in Bihar

Speaking on the recent Bihar elections, the Prime Minister highlighted that the state witnessed the highest voter turnout in its history. Female participation surged, with women voting nearly 9% more than men.

Modi said this reflected the strengthening of India’s democracy.

He also criticized the previous RJD government, saying:

“The people gave Lalu Prasad Yadav 15 years. He could have done a lot for Bihar, but chose ‘jungle raj’ instead.”
