As severe cold wave conditions continue to disrupt daily life across large parts of India, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a fresh weather alert for Saturday, January 10, 2026. According to the forecast, four states are likely to witness heavy rainfall, while 29 cities across northern and eastern India will remain under the grip of dangerous cold wave conditions.
