- Delhi-NCR: Maximum temperature is expected at 24°C and minimum at 9°C. Moderate to dense fog in the morning may disrupt road travel. Winds are likely to blow at 10–15 km/h. Air pollution levels could reach hazardous levels.
- Uttar Pradesh: Cities including Kanpur, Lucknow, Ayodhya, Agra, and Varanasi are covered with thick fog, reducing visibility and causing travel difficulties. Districts like Meerut, Saharanpur, Gautam Buddh Nagar, Shamli, Bagpat, Muzaffarnagar, Moradabad, Bareilly, and Pilibhit may also face fog-related challenges.
- Rajasthan: Dense fog warnings have been issued for Alwar, Sri Ganganagar, Jaipur, and Jaisalmer. Motorists are advised to drive at reduced speeds during early morning travel.
- Other Northern Regions: Patna, Bhagalpur, Darbhanga in Bihar, Shimla in Himachal Pradesh, and Dehradun, Nainital, Chamoli in Uttarakhand are expected to experience thick fog throughout the day.
Rainfall Forecast:
Light to moderate rain is possible in Tamil Nadu, Jammu & Kashmir, Puducherry, and parts of Himachal Pradesh due to an upper-level cyclonic circulation near Tamil Nadu’s lower regions. However, most of North India will remain dry and extremely cold.
