Renowned journalist and editor Vinayak Ashok Luniya has officially taken charge as the President of ‘Nivaraha Foundation’, a national-level Digital Media Self-Regulatory Body. Elected unanimously, Luniya’s appointment marks a significant step toward the unification and empowerment of India’s diverse media community.
Immediately after assuming leadership, Mr. Luniya initiated efforts to consolidate several media welfare organizations under one umbrella. Notably, he has merged the ‘All Media Journalist Social Welfare Association’ (active since 2015 in media welfare) and the ‘Jain Media Social Welfare Society’, an organization dedicated to the interests of Jain journalists, into ‘Nivaraha Foundation’.

Under Mr. Luniya’s leadership, Nivaraha Foundation has structured itself into 24 dedicated wings, ensuring representation and protection for every sector of the media industry across India.

Nationwide Membership Drive Underway
Under the new leadership, the Foundation has launched a nationwide membership campaign.
National Secretary Vishakh Jain stated:
“Under the dynamic guidance of Mr. Luniya, the organization is setting up committees across all states and districts. Several welfare initiatives and media-centric projects are in the pipeline and will be announced shortly.”
