Jawan Dies in Patrol Accident in Baramulla, Chinar Corps Pays Tributes

New Delhi: In a tragic incident during a routine patrol in Baramulla district, Jammu and Kashmir, Subedar Heera Lal slipped from a height and lost his life. The Chinar Corps of the Indian Army paid heartfelt tributes to his supreme sacrifice.

The General Officer Commanding-in-Chief of Northern Command laid a wreath at BB Cantt in honor of Subedar Heera Lal and saluted his bravery. Senior military officers, soldiers, and personnel were present to pay homage to the fallen soldier.

The Chinar Warriors expressed deep condolences to the bereaved family, lauding the courage and dedication of the martyr. The Army assured that it stands firmly with the family in this difficult time and is committed to providing all possible assistance for their welfare.

Details of the Incident
Officials stated that Subedar Heera Lal, a resident of Akbarpur, Haryana, slipped while on a night patrol in the Shiri area of Fatehgarh in North Kashmir. He was immediately taken to the Government Medical College in Baramulla in an unconscious state, where doctors declared him dead on arrival.

The Indian Army reiterated its commitment to honoring the sacrifice of its personnel and supporting their families during such tragic events.
