IndiGo is set to launch direct flights between Delhi and London Heathrow starting 2nd February 2026, offering passengers a seamless travel experience with two seating options: IndiGoStretch and Economy Class.

Flight Details and Schedule
The airline will operate this route five times a week — on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday — using a Boeing 787 aircraft leased from North Atlantic Airways in a dual-class configuration.

  • Delhi to London: Departure at 09:40 AM, arrival at 02:55 PM (local time).
  • London to Delhi: Departure at 05:15 PM, arrival next day at 08:15 AM (local time).

These schedules are subject to regulatory approvals. With this addition, IndiGo will operate a total of 12 weekly flights to London, complementing its existing daily flights from Mumbai. The new service provides a convenient direct option for travelers from both northern and western India.

Strengthening Delhi’s International Connectivity
The launch of Delhi–London flights further enhances IndiGo’s international connectivity from the capital. Recently, the airline added direct flights from Delhi to destinations such as Bali (Denpasar), Krabi, Hanoi, Guangzhou, and Manchester. Additionally, flights to Athens are set to begin in January 2026. Over the past year, IndiGo has introduced over 30 new international routes and 10 new global destinations from cities across India.

IndiGo’s Perspective
IndiGo CEO Peter Elbers said, “We are delighted to commence direct flights between Delhi and London, providing greater travel options between India and the United Kingdom. Following our recently launched Mumbai–London flights and services to Manchester from Delhi and Mumbai, this new route is expected to meet growing demand for business, tourism, and personal travel. IndiGo remains committed to making international travel easier and more accessible while strengthening connectivity between India and key global destinations.”
