New Delhi: Newly appointed BJP Executive National President and Bihar Cabinet Minister Nitin Nabin arrived in Delhi on Monday, receiving a grand welcome from party workers with drums, cheers, and slogans. Ahead of his arrival, Union Home Minister Amit Shah reached the BJP headquarters, creating a buzz at the party office.
Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta, Delhi BJP President Virendra Sachdeva, and several other leaders were present to receive Nitin Nabin. Hundreds of party workers and office bearers were already gathered at the headquarters in anticipation of his arrival.
A Responsibility and a Blessing
Speaking earlier in Patna, Nitin Nabin described his new role as a blessing from the party. He expressed gratitude to the BJP leadership and reaffirmed his commitment to continue the work of his late father, former BJP MLA Naveen Kishore Prasad Sinha. On Monday morning, he paid tribute to his father by garlanding his statue at a Patna park before addressing reporters.
He said, “I have always followed my father’s ideals—he considered the party as his mother and the nation as supreme. I am grateful that the party has entrusted me with this opportunity to continue serving BJP workers.” Prior to his departure to Delhi, Nabin also offered prayers at Patna’s Mahavir Temple.
Gratitude to the Prime Minister
The Cabinet Minister acknowledged Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership, praising the countrywide reach of developmental initiatives under his guidance. Nitin Nabin emphasized that the BJP has now established itself as a party representing all sections of society, and that the National Democratic Alliance’s development programs have benefited every segment of the population.
