BJP Slams Rahul Gandhi, Accuses Him of Acting Like a Child and Being Anti-India

New Delhi:
Rahul Gandhi’s recent comments during his Germany visit have triggered a political storm in India. Speaking at an event in Berlin, the Congress leader claimed that India’s institutional framework is under a massive attack and alleged that the BJP government is attempting to manipulate votes. He also highlighted issues of duplicate voters in the electoral rolls and questioned the fairness of the 2024 Haryana and Maharashtra assembly elections.

BJP Hits Back Hard

In response, BJP leaders launched a sharp attack on Rahul Gandhi. Union Minister Shobha Karandlaje stated that the Congress MP is not a leader of the opposition, but rather an anti-India leader who speaks against the nation while abroad. She added that Rahul Gandhi behaves like a child and lacks genuine concern for the country.

BJP National Spokesperson Pradeep Bhandari further alleged that Rahul Gandhi and the Congress promote chaos and unrest in India. Referring to George Soros, Bhandari claimed that Gandhi’s remarks in Germany, suggesting that Indians might fight among themselves and that the country could fail, reflect a broader agenda to destabilize Indian democracy.

BJP Accuses Congress of Hating India’s Democracy

BJP leaders accused Rahul Gandhi of attempting to align with anti-India forces internationally. According to them, the Congress party harbors hostility towards India’s progress and democratic institutions, aiming to create an atmosphere of disorder.

Rahul Gandhi’s Germany Comments

Rahul Gandhi, during his Berlin lecture, alleged that India’s institutions have been co-opted for political purposes, citing investigations by agencies such as the ED and CBI. He claimed that while these agencies hold no cases against the BJP, they disproportionately target opposition leaders and intimidate businesses supporting the Congress party.

The BJP’s response underscores the rising political tension as India debates the boundaries of national criticism, overseas commentary, and the role of opposition voices.
