Under the directives of Collector Mr. Shivam Verma, a special inspection campaign is being conducted across Indore district to review compliance with fire safety standards. Senior administrative officers are inspecting industrial, commercial, and storage establishments, ensuring that all fire prevention systems are properly installed and functional. Strict action is being taken against establishments found violating safety norms.
On Monday, a major action was carried out in the Sanwer area, where SDM Mr. Ghanshyam Dhangar and his team inspected Tara Chemicals, located at Rahukhedi, Sanwer. The factory was found lacking basic fire extinguishers and an approved fire safety plan. Consequently, the factory was sealed on the spot.
Similarly, in the Juni Indore area, SDM Mr. Pradeep Soni and his inspection team visited B.C. Dye Chem Warehouse in Musakhedi village. During the inspection, it was found that the warehouse did not have the required fire safety equipment, and its license renewal was also pending. Hence, the warehouse was sealed immediately.
Collector Mr. Shivam Verma has urged all industrialists and commercial establishment owners to ensure the availability and regular maintenance of fire safety equipment and to strictly adhere to all safety regulations. The inspection drive will continue across the district, and legal action will be taken against any establishment found negligent in following safety norms.
